This project was to replace the bay flat roof and valley coverings with a cost effective water proofing system that would keep out the elements.
Firstly we had to remove 3 courses of slates to the eave of the roof so the old flat roof coverings can be removed and the original eck board exposed and inspected. Luckily all deck boards were found to be in a suitable condition. A 3 layer felt system was installed to the area, as the entire valley and bay had a retaining upstand the edge required a large amount of detail work to the roof. As the property was over 8 meters in height a scaffold was erected to the front of the property to provide a safe working access and platform to complete the flat roof repair. As you can see from the photos it was a very tricky job
